If you are contributing to a company owned Pension fund and you either resign, retire, or are retrenched, you would be able to transfer a portion or the full amount of the assets to a Pension Preservation fund.

You may not contribute any additional amounts to the Preserver, however your Preserver will continue to grow. You will be able to withdraw or retire (at age 55) at a later stage.
