If you are contributing to a company owned Provident fund and you either resign, retire, or are retrenched, you would be able to transfer a portion or the full amount of the assets to a Provident Preservation fund.

You may not contribute any additional amounts to the Preserver, however your Preserver will continue to grow. You will be able to withdraw or retire at a later stage. (anywhere from age 55 onwards)
